  2. Changing Settings

  4. Select Change Settings from the WorldClock Lite menu in the menu bar 
  5. at the top of your screen.  
  6.  
  7. In WorldClock Lite, the operational controls on the Change Settings screen  
  8. Include the date and time and the Select Home Location button.  You can't add 
  9. to or modify the 180-location database that comes with WorldClock Lite.

  11. Changing the Computer's "Home" Location:

  14.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                 button to bring up a scrolling list of 180 
  15. worldwide locations.  Scroll through the list and find one close to you, or of interest 
  16. to you. Click on the desired location and then click the Select button, or just double
  17. click on the location.

  19. If the location you select is in a different time zone, WorldClock will adjust the hours
  20. automatically for the difference in time zones.

  22. Changing the Time or Date at the Computer's "Home" Location:

  24. ¬†                                         After setting the location, check the time in the digital clock 
  25.                                            readout at the lower left of the display.  If you need to adjust 
  26.                                            the hour, click on the hour in the lower left hand corner of the 
  27.                                            screen.  The hour will be highlighted and an up-down arrow 
  28.                                            will appear.  Click on the up arrow to adjust the hours ahead 
  29.                                            and on the down arrow to adjust the hours back.  When the 
  30.                                            hour is correct, click on the blank area of the window to the 
  31.                                            left of the hour.  Similarly, you can adjust the minutes, sec-
  32.                                            onds, or AM/PM settings.

  34.                                            Other settings that can be adjusted in the same way are the 
  35.                                            day, month, and year.  Since WorldClock Lite does not 
  36.                                            permit additions to the database, the latitude, longitude,
  37.                                            and time zone readouts are informational only, and cannot
  38.                                            be set.

  40. If you have made any changes to any of WorldClock Lite's settings, including time,
  41. date, or location, or reset the location of any of the clocks, WorldClock Lite will ask 
  42. you if you wish to save the changes when you quit.  If you click the Save button, the 
  43. changes will be saved for your next sesson.  The system clock will also be set to the 
  44. current time displayed by WorldClock Lite.  If you have just been experimenting,
  45. and don't want the changes saved, or don't want your system clock to be reset, click the 
  46. No button.
